We like to see our students at least twice per week. We have found that this is best for retention of information and individual progression.
No, your uniform is included with your enrollment into our regular program. Some, but not all, of our trial offers include a uniform.
The term of the contract would depend on the program you select.
Of course! We would love for you to give us a test drive before making a decision. In fact, you may take up to 3 group classes in order to help you make the right decision.
We do not offer classes exclusively for women, however, a large portion of our adult demographic is women.
Any scheduled classes not marked “Adult” are for children. As we are a family oriented school, all children’s classes are considered family classes and parents and grandparents enrolled in the program are encouraged to train with the children. It is important to note that these “Family” classes are taught at a child’s level but all training get what they need from the class.
Yes, we do offer private instruction for students who are struggling and need extra help. Private instruction is also available for students who miss class due to illness or travel. Students who would like to engage in private instruction as a means of full instruction should speak to the school directly as this will depend on instructor availability.
We all have limitations. Some are obvious and others are not so obvious. Martial arts is for everyone and everyone can succeed. Some of us may take more time than others to progress, which is why we work with students at their pace and not a predetermined pace. Students are coached to meet their potential whatever it may be and are never encouraged to compare themselves to another.
Absolutely! We offer a 30 day money-back guarantee.
Our class sizes vary depending on the level of students training. Each classroom does have a cap on the number of students we can take at one time. These caps depend on the location and mat size.
We do take attendance at each class. Every student has their own card that they scan in before the start of the class.
Consistency and commitment is important to the learning experience, in both the instructor as well as in the fellow student. It is our desire to provide a safe, constant, and comfortable training atmosphere. For this reason, we do not offer a pay as you go system. If you are visiting from out of town and wish to visit our school, just give us a call!
Students can attend any Lehigh Valley Martial Arts that offers classes in their training discipline.
Your belt or sash represents the discipline you train in. Belts are for our Karate system and sashes are for the Kung Fu and Tai Chi system. The different colors represent the hard work you have put in and signify to other students the level that you have attained.
Each student progresses at his or her own pace. As a general guideline, students can expect an average time between levels to last approximately 4 months when training consistently.
Of course! All of our schools offer areas for parents to both see and hear what is happening during classes.
Lehigh Valley Martial Arts is not a competition-based school. Should a student desire to compete, his or her instructor will prepare them for the experience upon request and in one-on-one training sessions.
We host some of the best birthday parties in the Lehigh Valley. Give us a call for more information on themes, times, and availability.
